Healthy Chocolate Banana Bread
Ingredients
- 320g banana, mashed
- 100g yoghurt
- 2 tbsp ground flax seed
- 2 tbsp maple syrup
- 1 tsp vanilla essence
- 80ml milk of choice
- 2.5 tbsp cocoa powder
- 165g wholemeal flour
- 80g rolled oats
- 1 tsp bicarbonate of soda
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
Preparation
Mix all the ingredients together.
Pour the mixture into a loaf tin.
Bake for 40 minutes at 180°C.
Let it cool and slice into 8 pieces.
Tips
Top slices with Greek yogurt, peanut butter, and pumpkin seeds or other toppings as desired.
This is a breakfast loaf and is not meant to be super sweet, with a texture more like bread than cake.
