Healthy Homemade Chocolate Granola

Ingredients

  • 3 cups rolled oats
  • 1 cup buckwheat
  • 1 1/2 cups coconut flakes
  • 1 cup walnuts
  • 1/4 cup chia seeds
  • 1/2 tsp. fine grain sea salt
  • 1/3 cup maple syrup
  • 1/3 cup oil of choice
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder

Preparation

  1. Mix all ingredients together.

  2. Roast on a baking tray at 175°C for 15 minutes.

  3. Remove and toss.

  4. Roast for another 10 minutes until toasted.

Notes

  1. Soak oats in filtered water for at least a few hours before using to aid digestion and nutrient absorption.

  2. FODMAP friendly serving size is 1/3 cup.
