Homemade Pizza with Sausages
Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons milk
- 1 cup water
- 1 tablespoon vegetable shortening
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
- 3 cups flour
- 1.5 teaspoons yeast

- Pizza sauce
- Cheese
- Sausages
- Olives
Preparation
In a small pot, combine milk, water, vegetable shortening, and olive oil, and heat over medium heat until warm.
In a mixer bowl, add sugar, salt, baking powder, flour, and yeast. Attach the dough hook and mix for a few seconds to combine the ingredients. Add the milk mixture and mix on medium speed until dough forms, then knead on low speed for 4 minutes.
Place the dough in an oiled bowl, cover with plastic wrap, and let it rise in a warm place until doubled in size.
Prepare a medium-sized pizza pan.
Roll out the dough into a circle to fit the pan, place it in the pan, and brush with a little olive oil.
Spread pizza sauce over the dough, sprinkle a little cheese, add sausages and olives, then add a generous amount of cheese. Let it rest for 20 minutes.
Bake the pizza in a 200°C oven until golden brown.
