Homemade Pizza with Assorted Toppings
Ingredients
Dough
- 1.5 cups lukewarm water
- 1 packet instant yeast (10 g)
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 0.5 tea cup olive oil
- 4.5 cups flour (add gradually)
Sauce
- 2 tomatoes
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 2 teaspoons oregano
- 0.25 tea cup olive oil
- 1 teaspoon hot pepper paste
Toppings
- 250 g cheddar cheese
- Sausage
- Canned corn
- Bell pepper
- Cherry tomatoes
Preparation
Place all ingredients except flour and salt in a mixing bowl and mix.
Add flour and salt, then knead into a non-sticky dough.
Allow the dough to rise while preparing the pizza ingredients.
For the sauce, blend all sauce ingredients in a blender.
After the dough has risen, divide it into two pieces.
Place on a floured tray, cover with a plastic bag, and let rest for 15 minutes.
Roll out the dough thinly and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Spread the sauce over the dough, add grated cheese, and top with other ingredients.
Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for about 30 minutes.
Remove from oven, slice, and serve.
Notes
Water cup measure is 250 ml and tea cup measure is 125 ml.
