Homemade Pizza with Assorted Toppings

Ingredients

Dough

  • 1.5 cups lukewarm water
  • 1 packet instant yeast (10 g)
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 tea cup olive oil
  • 4.5 cups flour (add gradually)

Sauce

  • 2 tomatoes
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 2 teaspoons oregano
  • 0.25 tea cup olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon hot pepper paste

Toppings

  • 250 g cheddar cheese
  • Sausage
  • Canned corn
  • Bell pepper
  • Cherry tomatoes

Preparation

  1. Place all ingredients except flour and salt in a mixing bowl and mix.

  2. Add flour and salt, then knead into a non-sticky dough.

  3. Allow the dough to rise while preparing the pizza ingredients.

  4. For the sauce, blend all sauce ingredients in a blender.

  5. After the dough has risen, divide it into two pieces.

  6. Place on a floured tray, cover with a plastic bag, and let rest for 15 minutes.

  7. Roll out the dough thinly and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

  8. Spread the sauce over the dough, add grated cheese, and top with other ingredients.

  9. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for about 30 minutes.

  10. Remove from oven, slice, and serve.

Notes

  1. Water cup measure is 250 ml and tea cup measure is 125 ml.
