Leek Pie Without Phyllo
Ingredients
- 3 leeks
- 2 medium carrots
- 1 green bell pepper
- 1 cup yogurt
- 1 cup corn flour
- 2 eggs
- 100 grams crumbled white cheese
- 4-5 tablespoons vegetable oil
- A small handful of dill (optional)
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Preparation
Wash the leeks thoroughly and slice into thin rings.
Grate the carrots and dice the bell pepper.
Sauté the vegetables in a little olive oil in a pan for about 10 minutes and let cool.
Mix the cheese, eggs, vegetable oil, corn flour, spices, baking powder, and dill in a bowl.
Add the leek mixture to the bowl and mix everything together.
Place the mixture in a baking dish and bake in a preheated 185°C oven until golden brown on top, about 25-30 minutes.
You can enjoy this dish hot or cold.
Notes
Use a 22x30 cm baking dish.
