Leek Pie Without Phyllo

Ingredients

  • 3 leeks
  • 2 medium carrots
  • 1 green bell pepper
  • 1 cup yogurt
  • 1 cup corn flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 100 grams crumbled white cheese
  • 4-5 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • A small handful of dill (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Preparation

  1. Wash the leeks thoroughly and slice into thin rings.

  2. Grate the carrots and dice the bell pepper.

  3. Sauté the vegetables in a little olive oil in a pan for about 10 minutes and let cool.

  4. Mix the cheese, eggs, vegetable oil, corn flour, spices, baking powder, and dill in a bowl.

  5. Add the leek mixture to the bowl and mix everything together.

  6. Place the mixture in a baking dish and bake in a preheated 185°C oven until golden brown on top, about 25-30 minutes.

  7. You can enjoy this dish hot or cold.

Notes

  1. Use a 22x30 cm baking dish.
