Plant-Based Meatballs with Mash and Gravy

Ingredients

Meatball mixture

  • plant-based mince
  • 30g grated mozzarella
  • 15g breadcrumbs
  • beef flavour stock cube
  • garlic powder

Accompaniments

  • mashed potato
  • tender stem broccoli
  • Bisto hot and spicy gravy

Preparation

  1. Mix the plant-based mince with grated mozzarella, breadcrumbs, stock cube, and garlic powder.

  2. Shape the mixture into balls, making them on the larger side if desired.

  3. Oven cook the balls at 180°C for 12 minutes to avoid overcooking.

  4. Prepare the mashed potato according to package instructions.

  5. Cook the tender stem broccoli by steaming or boiling until tender.

  6. Prepare the gravy as per the package directions.

  7. Serve the meatballs with the mash, broccoli, and gravy.

Tips

  1. Adjust the size of the balls to get approximately 5 balls and 2 burgers from the mixture.

  2. Cooking time may vary; check after 12 minutes to prevent overcooking.
