Vegetarian Shepherd's Pie with Veggies

Ingredients

  • veggie mince
  • water
  • Bisto best onion gravy
  • ground black and white pepper
  • onion salt
  • marabel potatoes
  • Monterey Jack cheese
  • double Gloucester cheese
  • parsnips
  • carrots
  • tender stem broccoli

Preparation

  1. Peel, dice, and boil the marabel potatoes until soft, then mash them

  2. Cook the veggie mince with water, Bisto best onion gravy, ground black and white pepper, and onion salt in a pan until well combined and heated through

  3. Assemble the cooked mince mixture in a 1-pound loaf tin

  4. Top with the mashed potatoes and a mixture of Monterey Jack and double Gloucester cheese

  5. Grill until the cheese is melty, or bake in the oven for 9 minutes

  6. Roast the parsnips until tender

  7. Butter the carrots and cook until soft

  8. Cook the tender stem broccoli until tender, such as by steaming or boiling
