Toasted Sesame and Roasted Red Pepper Toast

Ingredients

  • 2 slices of your favourite bread, toasted
  • 4 mini sweet peppers
  • 6 cloves garlic
  • 2 tbsp toasted sesame dairy free cheese spread
  • 1 tbsp sun-dried tomato pesto with fermented onions & vegetables
  • A drizzle of balsamic glaze
  • A sprinkle of hemp hearts
  • Fresh herbs

Preparation

  1. Roast garlic wrapped in foil with a drizzle of olive oil at 400 degrees Fahrenheit for 40 minutes.

  2. Remove stems and seeds from mini peppers. Roast for 15 minutes, tossing at the halfway mark.

  3. Toast the bread slices.

  4. Top the toast with toasted sesame spread, sun-dried tomato pesto, roasted peppers, roasted garlic, fresh herbs, a sprinkle of hemp hearts, and a drizzle of balsamic glaze.
