Chocolate-Filled Puff Pastry with Almonds
Ingredients
- 1 packet puff pastry
- 10 packets Galaxy chocolate
- 1/2 cup sliced almonds
Glazing mixture
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon liquid vanilla
Preparation
Set the wire rack in the oven, preheat the oven to 200°C, and prepare short-edged baking trays.
Place a piece of dough and roll it slightly with a roller. Using a knife or pizza cutter, cut the sides into strips.
Brush the dough with the glazing mixture, place the chocolate bar in the center, and sprinkle some almonds.
Fold the edges of the dough over the chocolate to cover it completely.
Brush the dough with the egg mixture and place it in the trays.
Bake for 20 minutes or until golden brown.
For serving, spread melted chocolate over the pastries and serve warm.
