Puff Pastry Meat Rolls
Ingredients
- 500 grams ground meat
- 3/4 cup mashed potatoes
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 2 tablespoons parsley, finely chopped
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon crushed chili
- 1 packet puff pastry squares
For covering
- 1 beaten egg
Preparation
Place the rack in the middle of the oven and preheat to 180°C. Prepare shallow baking trays.
In a deep bowl, combine the ground meat, mashed potatoes, finely chopped onion, finely chopped parsley, salt, black pepper, and crushed chili. Mix with a wide plastic spoon until homogeneous and smooth.
Prepare a piping bag fitted with a large round tip.
Place a square of puff pastry on the table. Pipe the meat mixture onto one end in a finger shape, roll the pastry around it, and seal the edges well. Cut the roll into 3 pieces and place on the baking tray with the sealed side down. Repeat with remaining pastry and mixture, leaving 1 inch space between rolls.
Brush the rolls with beaten egg using a wide brush.
Bake in the oven for 30 minutes until golden brown. Serve hot.
