Cozy Apple and Cinnamon Oatmeal

Ingredients

  • 60 g oats
  • 1 Tbsp chia seeds
  • 1 apple
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 240 ml oat milk
  • 120 ml water
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 Tbsp maple syrup (optional)

Topping

  • 2 plums
  • 1 tsp coconut oil
  • 1 Tbsp maple syrup

Preparation

  1. Add all oatmeal ingredients except maple syrup to a small saucepan. Bring to a boil and let simmer while stirring frequently until creamy. Add maple syrup and a little more liquid if necessary.

  2. For the roasted plums, melt coconut oil in a pan. Add plum pieces and fry for 2 minutes. Add maple syrup and cook until plum pieces are soft.
