No-Bake Date Syrup Halva
Ingredients
- 1 cup tahini
- 1 cup date syrup or grape syrup
- 1 cup coconut powder (or pistachio powder, almond powder, or 2 tablespoons pistachio cream)
- 1 cup milk powder
- 1 teaspoon cardamom powder
Preparation
Combine all ingredients together.
If the mixture is too loose, add more coconut powder or milk powder until the desired consistency is reached.
Press the halva onto a layer of nuts of your choice.
Let it cool and set before serving.
Tips
Use high-quality milk powder for better taste; avoid confectionery or baby milk powder.
Note that the halva will firm up after cooling.
