Simple Rice Bowl with Seasoned Beans and Veggies
Ingredients
- Leftover white rice
- Steamed broccoli
- Steamed kabocha squash
- 1/2 cup cooked black beans
- 1/2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1/2 tbsp maple syrup
- Ginger to taste
- Garlic to taste
Preparation
Take 1/2 cup cooked black beans in their juice and season with 1/2 tbsp soy sauce, 1/2 tbsp maple syrup, ginger and garlic to taste
Sauté the seasoned black beans until a nice thicker glossy sauce coats them
Assemble the bowl with leftover white rice, steamed broccoli, steamed kabocha squash, and the seasoned black beans
