Simple Rice Bowl with Seasoned Beans and Veggies

Ingredients

  • Leftover white rice
  • Steamed broccoli
  • Steamed kabocha squash
  • 1/2 cup cooked black beans
  • 1/2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1/2 tbsp maple syrup
  • Ginger to taste
  • Garlic to taste

Preparation

  1. Take 1/2 cup cooked black beans in their juice and season with 1/2 tbsp soy sauce, 1/2 tbsp maple syrup, ginger and garlic to taste

  2. Sauté the seasoned black beans until a nice thicker glossy sauce coats them

  3. Assemble the bowl with leftover white rice, steamed broccoli, steamed kabocha squash, and the seasoned black beans
