Simple Tamarind Clam Salad
Ingredients
- Clams
- Sliced red onions
- 1-2 sliced bird's eye chilies
- Sliced tomato
- Sliced coriander leaves
- Grilled shrimp paste
- Tamarind
- Water
- Fish sauce
- Lime
Preparation
Boil the clams briefly, then remove from shells and place in a separate bowl.
Mash together a little tamarind, a half thumb-sized piece of grilled shrimp paste, and some water.
Pour the mixture into the bowl with the clams.
Add all the sliced ingredients.
Squeeze lime juice over it.
Mix well and taste. If it tastes good, it is ready to eat.
