Fern Shoot and Clam Salad

Ingredients

  • 1 bunch fern shoots, blanched
  • A bowl of bean sprouts, blanched
  • Pre-boiled clams
  • 5 or 6 small shallots
  • 2 tablespoons toasted coconut
  • Bird's eye chilies
  • Shrimp paste
  • Salt
  • Coconut milk

Preparation

  1. Pound or blend the bird's eye chilies with shrimp paste.

  2. Mix the chili paste, toasted coconut, and shallots in a large bowl.

  3. Add the clams and mix well, then add a little salt.

  4. Add the blanched fern shoots and bean sprouts.

  5. Mix evenly and add about 2-3 tablespoons of coconut milk.

Tips

  1. If anything is lacking, add according to your own taste.
