Simple Wholesome Granola with Superfoods
Ingredients
- 3 cups rolled oats {can easily be swapped for gluten free}
- 1 cup shredded coconut
- 1 cup almonds
- 3/4 cup pumpkin seeds
- 1/4 cup sesame seeds
- 1/4 cup hemp hearts
- 2 tbsp chia seeds
- 1/2 tsp of sea salt
- 1/2 cup olive oil
- 1/3 cup honey
- 1 tsp vanilla
Preparation
Preheat oven to 250
Combine all dry ingredients in a large bowl
Heat oil and honey in a small saucepan; once it simmers remove from heat and stir in vanilla
Pour wet ingredients into the bowl and mix well
Spread on 1 large or 2 medium sized cookie sheets and bake for 1 hour
Remove and let cool; store in a tight sealed container for up to 10 days
