Turmeric Spiced Latte Porridge

Ingredients

  • 1 cup boiling water
  • 1 cup organic oats
  • 1/2 cup coconut milk
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1/8 tsp ground black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon powder
  • 1-2 tbsp maple syrup

Optional toppings

  • Saffron to taste
  • Fruit
  • Nuts
  • Cocoa nibs

Preparation

  1. Add oats to the boiling water and cook for 1-2 minutes as you normally would with porridge.

  2. Lower the heat and add milk.

  3. Add all the spices.

  4. Turn off the heat and add your preferred sweetener or none at all.

  5. Add your toppings, such as fruit, nuts, seeds, chocolate, or nut butters.
