Easy Shrimp Cocktail Appetizer
Ingredients
- 600 g shrimp
- 200 g mayonnaise
- 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
- 2 tablespoons ketchup
- 50 ml fresh cream
- 1 teaspoon sweet mustard
- 20 g cognac
- 1 small head of soft lettuce or lettuce
- 1 bay leaf
- 1 garlic clove
Preparation
Boil the shrimp with bay leaf and garlic until cooked, then drain and cool.
Mix mayonnaise, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, fresh cream, sweet mustard, and cognac to prepare the sauce.
Chill the sauce and shrimp in the refrigerator.
Serve the shrimp on a bed of lettuce with the sauce.
