Shrimp and Arugula Cocktail

Ingredients

  • 1 kg shrimp
  • 3 bay leaves
  • 3 lemon peels
  • 3 bunches arugula
  • 2 green onions

Cocktail sauce

  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 cup ketchup
  • 1/2 cup lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 2 tablespoons mustard

Preparation

  1. Wash the arugula and lettuce, place it in a colander, and keep it in the fridge to stay fresh.

  2. To prepare the shrimp: in a pot or pan, place the shrimp, bay leaves, lemon peels and lemon slices, some black peppercorns and some water, leave it for a few minutes until it changes color, then peel the shrimp and place it in the fridge to become very cold.

  3. In a deep bowl, place mayonnaise, ketchup, lemon juice, mustard, paprika, salt and black pepper, and mix well.

  4. Choose a suitable deep dish for the cocktail.

  5. Place the arugula in the dish, cut the shrimp as desired, and place it over the arugula.

  6. Cut the green onion and tomato, and place it over the shrimp, then add some arugula.

  7. Add some shrimp, some sauce, and repeat as desired.

  8. Place some shrimp on the sides of the dish, garnish with green onion, and serve cold.
