Cabbage Salad with Olives
Ingredients
- 250 grams sliced cabbage
- 1 medium green apple, peeled and thinly sliced
- 1 medium carrot, grated
- 1 large pickled cucumber, thinly sliced
Sauce
- 2 tablespoons sour cream
- 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Garnish
- Black olive slices
- Chopped walnuts
- Pomegranate seeds
Preparation
In a deep bowl, place the cabbage, apple, carrot, and cucumber. Mix the vegetables to combine.
For the sauce: In a deep bowl, place the sour cream, mayonnaise, lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Using a fork, mix the ingredients to get a smooth sauce.
Pour the sauce over the vegetables. Mix the vegetables with the sauce. Place the dish in the refrigerator for about an hour or until serving.
For serving: Pour the salad into a serving dish. Spread the olives, walnuts, and pomegranate, then serve.
