Red Bean and Corn Salad
Ingredients
- 1 medium head lettuce
- 1 cup cooked red beans
- 1 cup cooked corn
Vinegar sauce
- 4 tablespoons white vinegar
- 4 tablespoons mayonnaise
- 1/4 teaspoon fine-grained sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
For serving
- toasted Arabic bread triangles
Preparation
Bring a wide serving plate.
With your fingertips, tear the lettuce leaves into small pieces.
Place the lettuce leaves in the serving dish and spread the beans and corn.
In a deep bowl, combine white vinegar, mayonnaise, fine-grained sugar, salt, and black pepper; whisk until smooth.
Spread the vinegar sauce over the salad and serve with toasted Arabic bread triangles.
