Indonesian Crispy Shrimp Fritters

Ingredients

  • 200g peeled shrimp
  • 150g rice flour
  • 1 egg
  • 150ml water
  • 1 green onion, sliced
  • salt to taste

Spice blend

  • 4 shallots
  • 3 garlic cloves
  • 1 teaspoon pepper

Preparation

  1. Mix all ingredients and the spice blend together, pouring the water slowly until well combined.

  2. Heat oil in a pan, scoop the batter with a spoon, and fry until cooked. Repeat until all batter is used.

  3. Serve with red vinegar.
