Garlicky Wild Mushrooms on Toast
Ingredients
- 2 tbsp extra virgin olive
- 2 cloves garlic sliced
- 3 big handfuls wild mushrooms broken up a bit.
- 1 tbsp white wine - optional
- big pinch sea salt
- black pepper
- 1 tbsp fresh thyme leaves
- 2-3 slices sourdough toasted
- drizzle extra virgin olive oil
- add in the mushrooms and white wine. stir to combine and sauté for 3-4 minutes until the mushrooms have softened.
- season with salt, pepper and fresh thyme.
- drizzle some extra virgin olive oil over toasted sourdough.
- spoon the mushrooms on top.
Preparation
In a pan, on a low to medium heat - fry the garlic with the oil for a minute or so
Add in the mushrooms and white wine. Stir to combine and sauté for 3-4 minutes until the mushrooms have softened
Season with salt, pepper and fresh thyme
Drizzle some extra virgin olive oil over toasted sourdough
Spoon the mushrooms on top
