Gluten-Free Roasted Garlic Bread

Ingredients

  • 1 loaf of gluten-free bread
  • 80 g butter, softened
  • 1 bulb roasted garlic, mashed
  • 1 green onion top, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves of fresh garlic, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese (optional)

Preparation

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

  2. Slice the bread in half lengthwise and place the halves on a baking sheet, cut side up.

  3. In a mixing bowl, combine the softened butter, mashed roasted garlic, chopped green onions, minced fresh garlic, salt, pepper, parsley, and thyme. Mix until well combined.

  4. Spread the garlic butter mixture evenly over the cut sides of the bread.

  5. If desired, sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese over the garlic butter mixture.

  6. Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the bread is toasted and the cheese is melted and bubbly.

  7. Remove the garlic bread from the oven and let it cool slightly before slicing.

  8. Slice the garlic bread into pieces and serve warm with soup.
