Homemade Avocado Hummus Dip
Ingredients
- 1 15 oz can chickpeas rinsed and drained
- 3 Tbsp lemon juice
- 2 Tbsp tahini
- 2 small garlic cloves
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp cumin
- 1-2 Tbsp hot water
- 2 small avocados halved, pitted, peeled
- 2 Tbsp cilantro
Preparation
Rinse and drain the chickpeas.
In a food processor, combine chickpeas, lemon juice, tahini, garlic, salt, and cumin. Blend until smooth.
Add avocados and cilantro. Blend again until well incorporated and creamy.
If the mixture is too thick, add hot water one tablespoon at a time and blend until desired consistency is reached.
