Oil-Free Creamy Hummus with Plant-Based Protein

Ingredients

  • 400g chickpeas (canned)
  • 1/3 cup aquafaba (chickpea water)
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 3 tbsp tahini
  • 6 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp cumin powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • Pepper to taste

Preparation

  1. Add all ingredients to a high-speed blender and blend until creamy (1-2 minutes)

  2. Taste and adjust the seasoning as needed

  3. Garnish with cilantro/parsley and spicy paprika/chili

  4. Serve right away or store in an airtight container in the fridge
