Silky Pudding in Puyo Style
Ingredients
- 1 packet instant jelly (15g), choose flavor as desired, I used strawberry
- 1 can sweetened condensed milk (I used Carnation)
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 6 tablespoons granulated sugar, adjust sweetness to taste
- 2 liters boiled water
- 2 drops food coloring to match pudding flavor (optional, can be omitted, color may be paler)
Preparation
Mix all ingredients together, setting aside any fruity acid from the instant jelly package to be added later after cooking
Cook the pudding mixture with continuous stirring to prevent the milk from curdling until substantial steam is produced, then turn off the heat
Allow the steam to dissipate, add the fruity acid, and stir until evenly mixed
Pour the mixture into pudding containers, optionally garnish with cut fruits, let it cool to room temperature, and then refrigerate until set
