Sweet and Spicy Chickpea Loaded Naans
Ingredients
- 2 vegan naan breads
- 1 tin (400g) chickpeas
- 1/2 red onion, sliced
- 1 tsp garam masala
- 2 tsp mango chutney
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 2 tbsp vegan mayo
- 1 lime
Toppings
- Flaked almonds
- Chilli flakes
- Coriander
Preparation
Heat a pan with a drizzle of oil, add drained chickpeas, garam masala, garlic powder and mango chutney, and cook for 4-5 minutes.
Meanwhile, dampen the naans lightly with water and put under the grill for a few minutes.
Combine the mayo with garlic powder and a squeeze of lime.
Layer the naans with the garlic mayo, chickpeas, red onion, almonds, a sprinkle of chilli flakes, coriander, and more lime.
