Sweet and Spicy Chickpea Loaded Naans

Ingredients

  • 2 vegan naan breads
  • 1 tin (400g) chickpeas
  • 1/2 red onion, sliced
  • 1 tsp garam masala
  • 2 tsp mango chutney
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 2 tbsp vegan mayo
  • 1 lime

Toppings

  • Flaked almonds
  • Chilli flakes
  • Coriander

Preparation

  1. Heat a pan with a drizzle of oil, add drained chickpeas, garam masala, garlic powder and mango chutney, and cook for 4-5 minutes.

  2. Meanwhile, dampen the naans lightly with water and put under the grill for a few minutes.

  3. Combine the mayo with garlic powder and a squeeze of lime.

  4. Layer the naans with the garlic mayo, chickpeas, red onion, almonds, a sprinkle of chilli flakes, coriander, and more lime.
