Chai Infused Oats

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup rolled oats
  • 1 chai tea bag
  • 1/2 tbsp ground flax seed
  • pinch of salt
  • pinch of cinnamon
  • 1 tbsp raisins
  • 1 cup boiling water from a tea kettle
  • 3-4 tbsp almond milk or coconut milk

Preparation

  1. Add your dry ingredients (minus tea bag) and stir to combine place tea bag on top of oats and then pour in hot water. Stir making sure tea bag is submerged in water. P

  2. Lace a plate or flat surface over top to completely cover bowl and allow to sit for 2-3 minutes

  3. Remove top and stir to combine. Remove tea bag, give tea bag a little squeeze to release some extra flavor then discard bag. Stir in almond milk

  4. Top as desired. Today I did nectarines, blackberries and blueberries with peanut butter and cacao nibs
