Protein Porridge with Berry Compote and Dark Chocolate
Ingredients
- 2/3 cup porridge oats
- 1/8 cup hemp seeds
- 1/8 cup chia seeds
- 1 cup milk
- 1 cup water
- cinnamon to taste
- 1/2 cup frozen berries
- sweetener to taste
- 1 scoop protein powder
Preparation
Add oats, hemp seeds, chia seeds, milk, water, and cinnamon to a pot and heat on low until combined and oats are soft and hot, making it runnier than desired to account for thickening with protein powder.
Meanwhile, add frozen berries and sweetener to a bowl and microwave for 2 minutes or cook on the stove.
Remove from heat, add protein powder, and mix well.
Serve in a bowl with the berry compote and optional toppings like dark chocolate.
