Vegan Cinnamon Bun Oatmeal
Ingredients
- 60g oats
- 200-300ml water
- chia seeds
- 1-2 tbsp sweetener of choice (e.g., date puree)
- cinnamon
- cardamom
- pinch of vanilla
- pinch of salt
- optional butter aroma (vegan)
Frosting
- vegan cream cheese
- cinnamon
- sweetener
- water, mylk, or oatcream
Preparation
Simmer the oat mixture on medium heat until desired consistency, adjusting water amount to personal preference.
In a small bowl, mix vegan cream cheese, cinnamon, sweetener, and a liquid until it reaches a frosting-like consistency.
Pour the frosting over the cooked oatmeal.
Add something salty on top or on the side to balance the sweetness.
