Vegan Cinnamon Bun Oatmeal

Ingredients

  • 200-300ml water
  • chia seeds
  • 1-2 tbsp sweetener of choice (e.g., date puree)
  • cinnamon
  • cardamom
  • pinch of vanilla
  • pinch of salt
  • optional butter aroma (vegan)

Frosting

  • vegan cream cheese
  • cinnamon
  • sweetener
  • water, mylk, or oatcream

Preparation

  1. Simmer the oat mixture on medium heat until desired consistency, adjusting water amount to personal preference.

  2. In a small bowl, mix vegan cream cheese, cinnamon, sweetener, and a liquid until it reaches a frosting-like consistency.

  3. Pour the frosting over the cooked oatmeal.

  4. Add something salty on top or on the side to balance the sweetness.
