Saffron Raisin and Gingerbread Oats
Ingredients
- 1 cup rolled oats (gluten free if needed)
- 1.5 cups water
- handful of raisins
- pinch of good quality saffron
- pinch of salt
- 1 tbsp agave or maple syrup
- 2 tbsp almond flakes
- 2 tbsp crumbled crispy gingerbread
- splash of coconut milk (or other vegan milk of choice)
Preparation
Put oats, water, saffron, raisins and salt in a pot, bring to a boil and simmer for 3-4 minutes or until it’s reached your desired consistency, stir every now and then.
Take off the heat and stir in the syrup.
Pour into a bowl and serve with almonds, gingerbread and your choice of milk.
