Easy Vegan French Toast

Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1/2 cup non-dairy milk
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla
  • cinnamon
  • pinch of salt
  • 2-3 slices of bread

Toppings

  • sautéed apples
  • plain dairy-free yogurt
  • granola with no added sugar
  • pumpkin seeds
  • pecans
  • powdered sugar

Preparation

  1. In a big bowl, add one splash of the milk to the cornstarch and mix everything well.

  2. Add the rest of the milk, the other ingredients and mix.

  3. Soak the bread in the mixture for 10-15 seconds.

  4. Cook it on a greased pan over low heat and flip when it’s golden brown.

  5. Add your favorite toppings and enjoy.
