Vegan Chocolate French Toast with Fruit
Ingredients
- 1 mashed banana
- 50 ml plant milk
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1-2 teaspoons cocoa powder
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- optional 1 tablespoon chickpea flour
- toast slices
Toppings
- coconut yogurt
- raspberry jam
- berries
- maple syrup
Preparation
Whisk together a mashed banana, 50 ml plant milk, 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon, 1-2 teaspoons cocoa powder, 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract and optional 1 tablespoon chickpea flour.
Add the toast slices and turn to coat.
Cook the toasts in a pan on low to medium heat from both sides until crispy, about 3 to 5 minutes per side.
Serve with coconut yogurt, raspberry jam, berries, and drizzle with maple syrup.
