Tasty Meatballs in Beer Sauce

Ingredients

  • 300g ground beef
  • 300g sausage
  • 80g stale bread crumbs
  • 1 egg
  • chives
  • 1 bunch parsley
  • flour
  • milk
  • 3 onions
  • 1 tablespoon tomato paste
  • 200ml light beer
  • olive oil
  • salt
  • pepper

Preparation

  1. Crumble the bread and let it soften in a bowl with a little milk.

  2. In another bowl, combine the ground meat with the crumbled sausage, egg, squeezed bread, chopped chives and parsley. Season with salt and pepper and mix well with hands or a spoon.

  3. With the mixture, form meatballs the size of a large walnut and coat them in flour.

  4. In a pan, heat 2 tablespoons of oil, add the meatballs and brown them evenly. Remove them from the pan when golden.

  5. In the same pan, sauté the sliced onions with the tomato paste, pour in the beer and let it evaporate. Add salt and pepper and cook for 15 minutes.

  6. Then add the meatballs to the sauce and cook for another 20 minutes.

  7. Serve the tasty beer meatballs hot.
