Chicken Sauté with Mashed Potatoes

Ingredients

Mashed potatoes

  • 3 medium potatoes
  • 1 teaspoon butter
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 tablespoons grated cheese
  • Salt

Chicken sauté

  • 5 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 chicken breast
  • 2 green chilies
  • 1 onion
  • 1 red bell pepper
  • 1 tomato
  • Salt
  • Red pepper flakes
  • Black pepper
  • Grated cheese for topping

Preparation

  1. Peel and boil the potatoes until soft.

  2. Add 5 tablespoons of vegetable oil to a pan.

  3. Cube the chicken and add it to the pan, cook until it releases and absorbs its moisture.

  4. Add the chopped onion, green chilies, and red bell pepper, and sauté until softened.

  5. Add the tomato and spices, cook for 6-8 minutes, and remove from heat.

  6. Mash the boiled potatoes, add milk, butter, and 2 tablespoons grated cheese, and mix well.

  7. In a baking dish, layer the potato mash, then the chicken mixture, sprinkle cheese on top, and bake at 180°C until the cheese melts.
