Indonesian Shrimp and Chicken Sempol
Ingredients
- 150g ground shrimp
- 50g ground chicken
- 100g tapioca flour
- 1 small packet ready-to-use seasoned flour
- 1 egg
- Salt, sugar, pepper to taste
- 5 ground shallots
- 3 ground garlic cloves
- 30ml water
- 2 stalks green onions, sliced
- 250g medium shrimp, peeled with tail on, cleaned, and scored
Batter
- 1 egg
- Salt and pepper to taste
- A little water
Preparation
Mix all ingredients until even, then take one shrimp and wrap it with the mixture while shaping into balls, repeat until all are done.
Boil until cooked, then drain.
Dip into the batter, fry until golden brown, and serve.
