Quick and Easy Hot Honey Chicken Wings

Ingredients

  • 1 Kg Chicken Wings, sectioned into drums and flats
  • 1 tbsp Baking Powder
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1 tsp Smoked Paprika
  • 1/2 tsp Cayenne Pepper
  • Salt & Pepper to Taste
  • Drizzle of oil

Hot honey sauce

  • 50g Butter
  • 3 Garlic Cloves, minced
  • 1 tbsp Chilli Flakes
  • 3 tbsp honey

Dipping sauce

  • 150 mL Sour Cream
  • 100g Mayonnaise
  • Chives
  • 1 Clove Garlic

Preparation

  1. Pat the chicken wings dry with a paper towel and add them to a large mixing bowl.

  2. Add the baking powder, garlic powder, paprika, cayenne pepper, salt and pepper to the chicken wings with a drizzle of oil. Mix well.

  3. Transfer wings to the air fryer and cook at 180 degrees for 25 minutes, turning halfway.

  4. In the meantime, heat a pan on medium heat. Melt the butter, then sauté the garlic until fragrant. Add chilli flakes and honey. Bring to a simmer and simmer for a few minutes until thickened.

  5. For the dipping sauce, combine sour cream, mayonnaise, minced garlic and chives. Season with salt and pepper. Mix well and set aside.

  6. Once the wings are cooked, add them to a mixing bowl and drizzle with the hot honey sauce. Toss well. Serve with the dipping sauce.
