Crookie: Cookie and Brownie Hybrid

Ingredients

Brownie

  • 65 g flour
  • 35 g cocoa
  • 150 g sugar
  • 2 g salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 85 g chocolate
  • 120 g butter

Cookie

  • 120 g butter
  • 1 egg
  • 170 g chocolate
  • 120 g sugar
  • 160 g flour
  • 2 g baking soda

Preparation

  1. Bring the butter to a gentle heat until it turns hazelnut color, strain and set aside for the cookie part.

  2. Mix sugar with egg, stir, and when the butter is cooled, combine the mixtures; add sifted dry ingredients and chocolate chips, mix, and refrigerate for at least one hour for the cookie dough.

  3. For the brownie, melt butter in microwave and meanwhile mix eggs, sugar, and salt.

  4. Combine the two mixtures for brownie, stir, and add sifted dry ingredients and chocolate chips.

  5. Using a piping bag, line the base of your mold with about three-quarters of the brownie batter and bake in a preheated oven at 180°C static mode for about ten minutes.

  6. After that time, place some cookie dough pieces on the surface and continue baking for another 10-12 minutes; let cool completely before unmolding.

  7. Finish with a scoop of ice cream and enjoy.
