Flattened Rice Poha Breakfast Dish
Ingredients
- Flattened rice (poha)
- Oil
- Mustard seeds
- Curry leaves
- Onions
- Whole red chillies
- Turmeric
- Salt
- Lemon juice
Preparation
Put poha in a colander and wash it without soaking too long, then leave to drain completely.
Heat oil and add mustard seeds, curry leaves, onions, and whole red chillies.
When onions are light brown, add turmeric and sauté.
Add salt and sauté until mixed and heated through.
Add flattened rice and mix well, then add lemon juice and cover the pan for 2 minutes.
Transfer to a serving dish.
