Vegan Chickpea Omelette Breakfast

Ingredients

  • Gram Flour BESAN - 1 cup
  • Spelt flour - 1/3 cup
  • Baking powder - 1 tsp
  • Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Onions - 1 medium size (chopped)
  • Green chilli - 1 (optional)
  • Red capsicum - 1/2 diced into small pieces
  • Coriander leaves - 1/3 cup chopped
  • Oil - as required
  • Salt - according to taste
  • Black pepper - 1 tsp
  • Water - 1 1/2 cup

Preparation

  1. Mix gram flour, spelt flour, baking powder, turmeric powder, salt, and black pepper in a bowl

  2. Gradually add water to the dry mixture to form a smooth batter

  3. Stir in the chopped onions, green chili, red capsicum, and coriander leaves

  4. Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat

  5. Pour the batter into the pan and spread it evenly to form an omelette shape

  6. Cook until the bottom is golden brown, then flip and cook the other side until fully set
