Simple Cheesy Vegetarian Carbonara

Ingredients

  • 80g mafalde pasta
  • veggie chicken flavour stock
  • half pack Italian deli ham style slices
  • handful of veggie bacon pieces
  • Sizolla spray oil
  • a few turns of cracked black pepper
  • spinach for serving

Sauce components

  • 3 extra light cheese triangles
  • a little pasta stock
  • 15g Italian hard cheese

Preparation

  1. Cook the pasta in veggie chicken flavour stock.

  2. Make a sauce using the cheese triangles, a little pasta stock, and Italian hard cheese.

  3. Cook the veggie bacon pieces in spray oil until crispy.

  4. Stir all ingredients together with the pasta and sauce.

  5. Serve on a bed of spinach.
