Spaghetti Carbonara with Shrimp and Mushrooms
Ingredients
- Spaghetti as needed (angel hair pasta, Prego brand)
- Olive oil as needed
- Garlic, chopped
- Shallots, chopped
- Shrimp, peeled
- Canned button mushrooms, drained and sliced or fresh shiitake mushrooms, sliced
- 1 small box whipping cream (any brand)
- 1/2 small box full cream milk (any brand)
- Grated mozzarella cheese, to taste
- Black pepper (Aji-Shio brand)
Garnishes
- Chili flakes (McCormick brand)
- Parsley leaves or oregano leaves or coriander, finely chopped (choose one)
Preparation
Boil spaghetti until soft, drain, and set aside.
Heat olive oil and sauté garlic and shallots until fragrant.
Add shrimp and sliced mushrooms.
Once shrimp is cooked, add whipping cream and full cream milk.
Season with salt and adjust to taste.
Add black pepper.
Stir in cheese and when sauce thickens, add spaghetti and mix together.
Serve on a plate and garnish with chili flakes and parsley leaves.
