Steamed Cassava Lemet Snack

Ingredients

  • 1 kg cassava
  • 1/2 grated coconut
  • 350 g sliced palm sugar
  • 50 g white sugar (optional)
  • A pinch of salt
  • Vanilla to taste
  • Banana leaves

Preparation

  1. Grate the cassava.

  2. Mix the cassava with all the ingredients and stir until well combined.

  3. Take a banana leaf, place 1 tablespoon of the mixture on it, fold the edges, and secure if necessary; repeat until all mixture is used.

  4. Steam in a steamer with boiling water for 20-25 minutes.
