Easy Five Seed Crackers

Ingredients

  • 1 cup sunflower seeds
  • 1 cup pumpkin seeds
  • 1 cup flax seeds
  • 1/2 cup chia seeds
  • 1/2 cup sesame seeds
  • Water
  • Sea salt (optional)

Preparation

  1. Preheat the oven to 110 degrees

  2. Mix all the seeds in a bowl and add water until the seeds are covered

  3. Let it sit until the seeds have soaked up the water for 10-15 minutes

  4. Stir the seeds and then add them to a parchment covered baking sheet

  5. Spread the mixture thinly over the baking sheet. Place another parchment paper over the mixture and spread it evenly into a thin layer over the baking sheet

  6. Remove the top parchment sheet

  7. Add sea salt on top if desired

  8. Bake in the oven for 1 hour or until golden and crispy

  9. Take out from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes before breaking into pieces

  10. For nice square pieces, cut the spread with a knife before putting it into the oven
