Easy Five Seed Crackers
Ingredients
- 1 cup sunflower seeds
- 1 cup pumpkin seeds
- 1 cup flax seeds
- 1/2 cup chia seeds
- 1/2 cup sesame seeds
- Water
- Sea salt (optional)
Preparation
Preheat the oven to 110 degrees
Mix all the seeds in a bowl and add water until the seeds are covered
Let it sit until the seeds have soaked up the water for 10-15 minutes
Stir the seeds and then add them to a parchment covered baking sheet
Spread the mixture thinly over the baking sheet. Place another parchment paper over the mixture and spread it evenly into a thin layer over the baking sheet
Remove the top parchment sheet
Add sea salt on top if desired
Bake in the oven for 1 hour or until golden and crispy
Take out from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes before breaking into pieces
For nice square pieces, cut the spread with a knife before putting it into the oven
