Vegan Shortbread Biscuits
Ingredients
- 200 grams of vegan butter at room temperature
- 1/3 cup of maple syrup
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 300 grams of flour
- 1/4 teaspoon of salt
- 1 tablespoon nativa icing sugar
Preparation
Cream the butter, vanilla essence and maple syrup for 5 minutes
Once creamed add the flour and combine
Form the dough into a ball, wrap in cling wrap and refrigerate for an hour
On a floured bench place the dough and roll 1 cm thick
Cut the dough with a cookie cutter
Place the dough on a tray with parchment paper and bake at 180 for 15 minutes or until golden brown
