Vegan Shortbread Biscuits

Ingredients

  • 200 grams of vegan butter at room temperature
  • 1/3 cup of maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 300 grams of flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon of salt
  • 1 tablespoon nativa icing sugar

Preparation

  1. Cream the butter, vanilla essence and maple syrup for 5 minutes

  2. Once creamed add the flour and combine

  3. Form the dough into a ball, wrap in cling wrap and refrigerate for an hour

  4. On a floured bench place the dough and roll 1 cm thick

  5. Cut the dough with a cookie cutter

  6. Place the dough on a tray with parchment paper and bake at 180 for 15 minutes or until golden brown
