American Style Deep-Fried Corn Dog

Ingredients

  • Jumbo sausages
  • Cornmeal
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Paprika
  • Liquid recao

Preparation

  1. Mix cornmeal, salt, pepper, paprika, and liquid recao with water or other liquid to form a smooth batter.

  2. Heat oil in a deep fryer or large pot to around 375°F.

  3. Dip the sausages into the batter, ensuring even coating.

  4. Fry the coated sausages until golden brown and crispy, about 3-5 minutes.

  5. Remove from oil, drain on paper towels, and serve immediately.
