Fried Sausage and Potato Skewers

Ingredients

  • 3 bratwurst sausages
  • Frozen fried potatoes
  • 6 bamboo skewers
  • Tomato sauce, as needed
  • Mayonnaise, as needed
  • Oil for frying

Batter

  • 7-8 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • Salt, as needed
  • Pepper, as needed
  • Powdered stock, as needed
  • 1 small egg
  • A little boiled water

Preparation

  1. Cut the sausages into 2 parts and boil in boiling water for about 2 minutes. Remove and drain.

  2. Cut the potatoes into small cubes and set aside.

  3. Skewer the sausages with bamboo skewers. Coat with the batter mixture, then roll in the potatoes while pressing until fully covered. Repeat until all are done. Place in the freezer for about 15 minutes.

  4. Heat oil and fry until golden brown. Remove and drain. Serve with tomato sauce or chili sauce and mayonnaise.
