Kazakh Fried Dough Baursak
Ingredients
- 600 g flour
- 200 g soft butter
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- Pinch of baking soda
- 270 g water
Preparation
Mix flour, butter, sugar, salt, and baking soda together.
Add water and knead into a soft dough.
Let the dough rest for 10-15 minutes.
Divide the dough, roll into ropes, and cut into small pieces.
Fry in vegetable oil until golden brown.
