- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon ground coriander
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon oregano
- 1 teaspoon basil
- 1 teaspoon dried parsley
- 1 teaspoon ajinomoto
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon turmeric
Egg mixture
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 large egg
- 1/8 teaspoon baking powder
For frying
- Corn oil
Preparation
Wash the potatoes well to remove any dirt.
Cut the potatoes into thin fingers using a sharp knife.
In a deep bowl, place the flour, salt, onion powder, garlic powder, coriander, paprika, oregano, basil, dried parsley, ajinomoto, black pepper, and turmeric and mix them together using a fork.
For the egg mixture, in a deep bowl, combine the milk, egg, and baking powder.
In a deep frying pan, add oil to a depth of about 2 inches.
Heat the pan over medium heat until the oil is hot.
Dip several potato fingers in the egg mixture and coat them well, then transfer to the flour mixture and coat completely before placing directly in the hot oil, repeating with the remaining potatoes without overcrowding the pan.
Use a slotted spoon to turn the potato fingers until they are fully cooked and golden brown.
Transfer the potato fingers to paper towels to drain excess oil and serve.
